Polychrome Pots

Polychrome Pots is a collaboration between Contemporary Artist Polly Apfelbaum and Ceramic Artist Gregg Moore. Following a Pew—supported ceramic residency that brought Polly into Gregg’s ceramics studio in the early days of the pandemic, Polychrome Pots evolved from their mutual appreciation of each other’s expertise and perspective.

Polly Apfelbaum is a multidisciplinary artist who engages art history and popular culture through colorful, large-scale installations that assemble fabrics or rugs, ceramics, drawings, sculptures and found objects. Apfelbaum received a BFA from Tyler School of Art, Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. She has lived and worked in New York City since 1978 and has shown consistently in the United States and internationally since her first one-person-show in 1986.
